Immunogen: Hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Tyrosine kinase receptor B (rmTrkB) extracellular domain.

Description/Data:

The biological activities of the neurotrophins are mediated by binding to the different members of the Trk family tyrosine kinase receptors. Three Trk family proteins, TrkA, TrkB and TrkC, exhibiting different ligand specificities, have been identified. At the protein sequence level, Trks are highly conserved between species and the proteins exhibit cross-species activity.
