Description/Data:

CD59 is an 18 to 20kD complement-inhibitory glycoprotein. CD59 is reported to be expressed on circulating blood cells and vascular endothelial cells. CD59 is also localized in reproductive tissue and in nervous tissue, where it is expressed on Schwann cells, neurons and endothelial cells.
