Immunogen: Recombinant human SOX3 (a.a. 1-230)

Description/Data:

The SOX (SRY-box containing gene) gene family encodes a group of transcription factors defined by the conserved high motility group (HMG) DNA-binding domain. SOX3 belongs to the SOX family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate.

The SOX3 gene is localized on the X chromosome and is expressed in the brain and gonads. It has been suggested that SOX3 plays a role in brain formation and function.
