Immunogen: A C-terminal synthetic peptide made to the human LRRK2 protein sequence (between residues 2500-2527).
Description/Data:

Lrrk2 (Leucine rich repeat kinase 2 antibody), PARK8, Dardarin or ROCO2 is is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family. Variants of this gene are associated with an increased risk of Parkinson's disease and also Crohn's disease.
Four LRRK2 gene variants found are found in a third of Parkinson’s cases, but infrequent in the general population. Unexpectedly, genomewide association studies have found an association between LRRK2 and Crohn's disease as well, suggesting that the two diseases share common pathways
