Format: Protein G Purified - liquid
Immunogen: Hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli-derived, recombinant human Persephin (rhPersephin).
Persephin belongs to the GDNF ligand subfamily of the TGF-β superfamily. It promotes the survival and growth of neurons implicated in age-associated neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's. Persephin is also suspected to play a role in kidney development.
Image: Persephin staining of paraffin-embedded human brain (cortex). HRP-DAB reagents (brown color) were used for the detection. Tissue sections were counterstained using hematoxylin (blue).
