Immunogen: Recombinant Human CD56 Protein
Description/Data:

CD59 is an 18 to 20kD complement-inhibitory glycoprotein. CD59 is reported to be expressed on circulating blood cells and vascular endothelial cells. CD59 is involved in signal transduction for T-cell activation complexed to a protein tyrosine kinase.
CD59 is also localized in reproductive tissue and in nervous tissue, where it is expressed on Schwann cells, neurons and endothelial cells.
