Description/Data:
Picture

Chordin is an extracellular antagonist of BMP signaling which is thought to readily diffuse in tissues, thus forming gradients of BMP inhibition that result in reciprocal gradients of BMP signaling thus impacting cell fate determination along the embryonic dorsoventral axis.

This antibody will block > 95% of the binding of 100 ng/mL of rhBMP-4 to immobilized rmChordin. (100 μL of 5 g/mL was coated in each well) in a functional ELISA. 50% inhibition occurs at an antibody concentration of approximately 3 - 12 μg/mL.
