Description/Data:
Wnt2b is a paralogue of Wnt2 and encodes Wnt2b1 and Wnt2b2 isoforms due to alternative splicing using alternative promoter. It has been found in ovarian cuboidal epithelium, primitive streak mesoderm, heart primordia, and the dorsal midline of the di- and mesencephalon.
