2-4101-001 has been replaced by 2-5101-001, but the product functionality has not changed Ready-to-use microplates (12 x 8-well strips) for diagnostic/assay applications, coated with Strep-Tactin® XT, a new Strep-Tactin variant with higher affinity for Strep-tag® II fusion proteins (nM affinity) and especially Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins (pM affinity). Fusion proteins are selectively captured from complex mixtures and the biomolecules of interest are presented to interacting partners in a uniform manner which results in reliable and reproducible assays. The solid-phase, multi-well format for convenient assays and high throughput screenings is compatible with standard multichannel pipettes and automated plate washers and plate readers. Twin-Strep-tag® fusion protein binding capacity (determined with bacterial alkaline phosphatase (97 kDa)) for 200µl incubation volume: 4 pmol Twin-Strep-tag® fusion protein/well. Elution of the bound fusion proteins is possible with biotin. |
