Breast CAFs in Culture

Breast cancer-associated fibroblasts (Cat. No. CAF06) were plated at 5,000/cm² in a Greiner BioOne T75 flask and maintained in MSC-GRO low serum, complete medium (Cat. No. SC00B1) in a reduced O2 environment (1%O2, 5%CO2, 90%N2) at 37°C in a humidified chamber.

Breast CAFs stained positive for a-SMA

Breast cancer-associated fibroblasts were fixed and permeablized then stained with 50ng/mL Hoechst, and a-SMA (1:100). Pictures were collected by Cytation 3 using DAPI & FITC of CAF06. Breast CAFs were positive for a-SMA.
