Format: Affinity Purified - liquid
Immunogen: Purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human CUB Domain Containing Protein 1 isoform 1 (rhCDCP1) extracellular domain.
CDCP1 (Cub Domain-containing Protein 1), also known as SIMA135 or CD318 is a transmembrane protein that is highly expressed in skeletal muscle and colon. CDCP1 expression has been observed in metastatic colon and breast cancers.
Exclusive expression of CDCP1 in hematopoietic, mesenchymal, and neural stem/progenitor cells suggests that it can be a useful marker for these cell types.
Image: CDCP1 staining of immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human colon cancer tissue at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific labeling was localized to the apices of colonic villi.
