Reducing Red Autofluorescence - SF40005Reducing Green Autofluorescence - SF40005

FluoMute™ ready-to-use reagent to reduce autofluorescence in cells and tissue. Just incubate fixed cells of tissue sections with FluoMute™ for 30-60 min at room temperature, rinse with PBS and continue with immunofluorescence ICC or/and IHC protocols. Treatment with FluoMute™ does not affect cell morphology and the integrity of tissue antigens to be detected with primary antibodies (see bottom image). FluoMute™ is compatible with paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections, stem cells, lymphocytes and mammalian cell lines of different origin.

Application Notes:

 

  • Paraffin-embedded tissue sections: Use FluoMute after cleared in zylene/ethanol, and right be adding primary antibodies to cells and tissue sections.
  • If heat induced antigen retrieval is performed: FluoMute should be used after finishing retrieval procedure, and right be adding primary antibody to cells and tissue sections. 
  • Frozen tissue sections: FluoMute is used as the very last step after doing blocking, permeabilization and other steps, and right before adding primary antibodies.
