Ready to Grow Human Endothelial Cells
Endothelial Cells play a key role in angiogenesis, the development of new blood vessels from pre-existing vessels. They line the entire circulatory system, from the heart to the smallest capillaries. These cells have very distinct and unique functions that are paramount to vascular biology. These functions include fluid filtration, such as in the glomeruli of the kidney, blood vessel tone, hemostasis, neutrophil recruitment, and hormone trafficking.

Our selection of human brain microvascular endothelial cells, microvascular pericytes and astrocytes are available cryopreserved or proliferating in a T-25 flask.
Our endothelial cells, pericytes and astrocytes can be cultured together to model the blood brain barrier. We also offer a 3D Blood Brain Barrier Model featuring brain endothelial cells cultured with pericytes and astrocytes layered in an insert.
