hMPro™ Human Mesenchymal Progenitors (hMPCs)
hMPro Mesenchymal Stem Progeitors are derived from human embryonic cell line, H9 (WA09). Cells are >80% CD90, CD105, CD166 and CD73 positive and <5% Oct4 positive.
These multipotent cells have the capabilities to form osteogenic and chondrogenic, but not adipogenic lineages. The have the ability to remodel and contract collagen I lattice constructs to an equivalent degree as keloid fibroblasts and were induced to express α-smooth muscle actin when exposed to transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1, but not platelet derived growth factor-B (PDGF-B).
hMProTM (MPCs) are osteogenic and chondrogenic, but not adipogenic. hMPro MPCs and bone marrow–derived human MSC were subject to MSC three-lineage differentiation protocols. They are ideal for use in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and for providing a highly reproducible cell source for adult-like progenitor cells. Note: they can be passaged up to 10X.
