Neuromics Models include Human Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) and Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells. The models are used to study the penetration rates of pathogens, compounds, proteins, and molecules through the microvascular endothelial cells barrier.
The whole process can be monitored (from cell inoculation to the end of experiment), therefore, more crucial information can be acquired at multiple time points from a single experiment.
