Stabilize Membrane Proteins for Drug Discovery
Earlier this year, Cube Biotech GmbH announced its acquisition of Neuromics' longtime partner, IBA Lifesciences. As a result, Neuromics is excited and grateful to introduce Cube Biotech's market-leading membrane protein stabilization and protein purification products to our catalog.
Membrane proteins are key players in drug discovery, with over half of FDA-approved drugs targeting them. However, they are tough to work with and characterize, as they are unstable outside the lipid environment. Detergents have conventionally been the approach to stabilize these proteins, but these approaches are time-consuming and frustrating.
Cube Biotech takes things to the next level with the NativeMP™ technology. The NativeMP™ technology uses lipids encased by polymers to create a membrane protein's natural lipid environment. With Cube's products, proteins remain active, allowing you to stabilize potential drug targets.
Screening is vital to finding the right copolymer for your proteins of interest. We offer Cube's screening kits, which combine over 30 copolymer belts and are a great starting point.

IBA's New Protein Purification Resin
As IBA Lifesciences US distributor, Neuromics offers our customers cutting-edge protein purification products. IBA is constantly introducing resins with greater capacity and higher yields. Strep-Tactin® 4Flow® High Capacity is now available as a new and improved version of our top-selling protein purification product.
The new resin consists of a low concentrated (4%) and pressure stable agarose coupled with high Strep-Tactin® density. These specifications lead to:
- High protein binding capacity
- Applicability for FPLC workstations
- High yields for all protein classes, especially large proteins
- Superior stability enabling at least 50 regeneration cycles
Study T-Cells with Our Peptides
As IBA Lifesciences US distributor, Neuromics equips the American market with the very best protein and cell isolation tools, including an assortment of peptides for T-cell stimulation. These peptides are synthesized to activate antigen-specific CD8+ T-cells, enabling infectious diseases, cancer, and autoimmune research, among other areas. They are currently being used by many large pharmas and biotechs in their projects.
